How important Relaxation is..

Relaxation techniques are gaining in popularity as our world continues to quicken its pace. As the stresses in our tension filled lives continue to mount, learning to relax has become increasingly difficult. Today, using natural techniques is a preferred approach by many, as many people are leery of turning to medical assistance. There are umpteen natural styles of relaxation; there is no “one way”. You need to find the one that works for you, and stick with it.

Guided Imagery - is exactly what it says it is. Picture yourself in a world filled with peace. Many people joking refer to this as the “happy place”, but that is essentially what it is. First you need to lie down and close your eyes and think of the “happy place”. Select a place that you love being in. It could be a white sand beach with beautiful sea breezes whipping around you, or a grassy picnic in the mountains, it can be anything and any place you want it to be. It does not have to be someplace you’ve been, it could even be someplace you want to be. Your imagination is your limitation. While you are imagining yourself there, pay attention to every sound, smell, warmth, feeling, sensation. Place yourself in such an imaginary place and try to relax. Use this place as often as you need to and whenever you want to. “Pretending” that you are somewhere that you want to be when you can’t be, can be very soothing.

Quiet Ears - In this technique, order your body to start unwinding by physically forcing quiet into your body. Lie on your back or whatever position is comfortable and close your eyes. Put your hands behind your head and place your thumbs inside your ears closing the ear canal. A high-pitched rushing sound will occur, this is expected. Don't heed anything else. Your arms will relax by themselves and you will eventually fall asleep.

White Noise - commonly known as white sound. Since it utilizes many frequencies of sounds from high to low and back it has what is known as a “masking” effect. The noise itself will appear like a whooshing noise and many feel that it is very similar to the sound of rain or wind in the trees. Studies have shown it to be capable of filling anyone with an inner peace as it is a sound derived from nature. You can purchase White Noise CD’s or noisemakers through your local bookstore or retailers online.

These are just a few relaxation techniques you can try on your own, there are so many out there. Each of these relaxation techniques operates on the same principles as exercise does. Time and practice is required to use them effectively.

Calling all Social Networking Fanatics..The Best Advice..

Don’t let it sabotage your chances for getting into a Big Company or College..
In a Kaplan press realease, 2008 survey of 320 admission officers of top colleges including educational experts of Kaplan found out that 10% visit social networking sites like Facebook & MySpace to learn more about the applicants personality. That means that an Online personality check really matters! Since it made 25% positive impression and 38% for a negative impression..This really calls our attention!

Internet has been a very big influence to all of us now and we (that includes me!)have to admit that being at Social Networking sites is a lot of fun! This a modernized way of building friendship, special relationship, interaction with groups with same interests, finding long lost friends, a tool for communication with friends and even used for business etc.. That is how Facebook, MySpace and other Social Networking Sites important to each of us. This is why it captured my attention when I read this issue at About.com

Maybe now, we just have to be more aware that online check of school professors or maybe even supervisors of big companies do online personality check through these Social Networking Sites.. Or they may accidentally see us through other people’s network..It’s important for us to also create a good online impression and keep in mind who might be looking at your social networking sites???

So, what should you do to clean up your online image? Best Advice:
* Remove or block any photos that show you drinking alcohol, even if you were in a
situation where it was legal
* Remove or block any photos that show you with people who are obviously under the
influence
* Remove or block photos with rude gestures (someone who doesn't know you won't find
that middle finger shot funny)
* Remove or block photos that are sexually suggestive
* Remove or block any photos that portray illegal activity
* Remove or block any photos that would make an admissions officer question your
character or judgment
* Unsubscribe from any groups that show bias or bigotry (those "I hate Jane Doe" and
"Old People Shouldn't Drive" groups suggest you're NOT the type of person a college
wants to admit)
* Unsubscribe from any groups that promote illegal activity (again, the "I Love
Getting Stoned" and "Budweiser Rules" groups will give the admissions folks
reservations about your application)
* Remove contact information such as your phone number and address--not only is this
a safety issue, but inclusion of such information shows bad judgment on your part.
* Choose an attractive and professional-looking photo for your profile picture
* Visit your site frequently to untag any unflattering photos your friends may have
posted

Another option is you block access to your account and limit only for your friend’s view. This would be a good advice but still “housecleaning” is a good idea. It's hard to keep track of your online friends once you have hundreds of them, and it's hard to know who might be looking over the shoulder of one of your "friends."

You might not know that you can turn the tables on those nosy employers and admissions officers who might be snooping around your site. Instead, use these Social Networking Sites to promote good feedback for yourself..

- Post pictures that show you doing constructive things (reading to kids, doing
volunteer work, restoring a car)
- Post pictures that show you and your friends in a positive light -- colleges and
employers want applicants with healthy social skills
- Post travel pictures -- those worldly experiences are a plus
- Join groups that have positive messages (breast cancer awareness, peace not war,
and so on)

Do it in a positive way for promoting yourself and increase your chance of acceptance may it be for College or in a Big Company.. Don't let this hinder your Big Opportunities in life..Let's start it now!

The importance of forgiveness..

Forgiveness. It's such a hard thing to do, but it can be so liberating to the soul. What makes it difficult for most of us to do is the way we define it. We think of forgiveness as meaning that we should say all is forgotten and things will go back to what they were. This Biblical definition of forgiveness is very hard for most of us to swallow. How can you forget the unforgettable? How can you forgive the unforgivable? To enjoy the benefits of forgiveness, however, we needn't go that far. All that's really required is that we make the decision to move forward, to let go of the old hurts. We don't have to condone what's been done. What's wrong is still wrong. We don't have to invite the person back into our lives or even be friendly with them. What we do have to do is allow ourselves to release all the negative emotions associated with that person. As long as we hold onto the pain, we are choosing to allow that person's past actions to continue to hurt us. We can also choose to stop letting them hurt us. That's a definition of forgiveness that's more doable for those of us who are less than saintly.
Here is an exercise you can do right now to let go of pain and begin to regain your life:
Make a list of those who have hurt you and how.. Then go to a quiet place where you can be alone and think of each of these painful situations. Think of these in detail, allow yourself to feel the hurt. Then place yourself in the other person's shoes. What do you think motivated them to behave the way they did? Were they abused themselves? Do they suffer from a mental illness? What fears and insecurities motivated their behavior? Now, think of how they are stealing your personal power. Does this make you angry? Do you want that to stop? Yes! Now, fill out this part of the exercise for each person on your list. Speak the words out loud as if you are speaking directly to them.
Forgiveness will make your heart and mind be at peace..and free of stress and worries..Try learning and teaching yourself to forgive. Its a wonderful feeling when you forgive someone you hate or your best enemy..Its just like healing yourself and living a new life.

Budget Shopping tips

I love fashion! But the question always is do we really need to spend more money on fashion?? Or when buying clothes, does price really matters? For me, fashion is not just all about price, brand, or the latest trend we have now.. But you can always create your own fashion..that would not cost you much..You can always be fashionable in a practical way..The following are the 5 budget shopping tips:

1. Look out for Sale schedules – Shopping on sale is fun! You can find a lot of good quality clothes and stuff that's right for you in a reasonable price.

2. Know what looks good on you- Just because it looks great in a magazine doesn’t mean it will look great on you. Be honest with yourself about your body. It will save you time and money.

3. Leave credit cards at home - This is the very important tip.. I've experienced it myself..Bringing a credit card with you all the time is dangerous. The biggest temptation you can't resist when you have credit card is buying anything you want without any control. Paying with cash gives you an instant visual indication of how much you’re spending.

4. Head to the outlet malls - Shopping at the outlets of your favorite stores and designers can save you a bundle. Here you can find good stuffs with good price. And that would suiit your budget.

5. Remember the 70/30 rule - Fashionistas with limited budgets should follow the 70/30 rule: 70% of your closet should be classic pieces, 30% trendy pieces. Go as cheap as possible on trendy items because they have a short closet lifespan.

So, how bout you? Do you spend a lot for fashion? Think twice and be a smart yet practical shopper..

The Top Five Cancer-Causing Foods are:

1. Hot dogs
Because they are high in nitrates, the Cancer Prevention Coalition advises that children eat no more than 12 hot dogs a month. If you can't live without hot dogs, buy those made without sodium nitrate.

2. Processed meats and bacon
Also high in the same sodium nitrates found in hot dogs, bacon, and other processed meats raise the risk of heart disease. The saturated fat in bacon also contributes to cancer.

3. Doughnuts
Doughnuts are cancer-causing double trouble. First, they are made with white flour, sugar, and hydrogenated oils, then fried at high temperatures. Doughnuts, says Adams , may be the worst food you can possibly eat to raise your risk of cancer.

4. French fries
Like doughnuts, French fries are made with hydrogenated oils and then fried at high temperatures. They also contain cancer- causing acryl amides which occur during the frying process. They should be called cancer fries, not French fries, said Adams .

5. Chips, crackers, and cookies
All are usually made with white flour and sugar. Even the ones whose labels claim to be free of trans-fats generally contain small amounts of trans-fats.

So, what are you waiting for? Live Life without limits!

The Story behind the Forepaugh's Restaurant

House Built in 1870 owned by Joseph Forepaugh for himself, his wife and two daughters.
His life in the house was never such a memorable one. But his business life was always successful as he was the senior partner in the largest wholesale dry goods company in the Midwest but for some reason, at the age of 58, he committed suicide. His body was found in a nearby park with a bullet in his head and the gun still clenched in his hand.

Some claimed that Forepaugh worried needlessly about his financial affairs, leading to his suicide, but there wer some feedbacks that his death had more to do with an affair of the heart than money. And they may have been right.... upon learning of his death, one of the household maids, a young girl named Molly, also killed herself. She was found hanged from an overhead light in an upstairs room. The other servants in the house believed that Molly and Forepaugh had an affair and thats why he killed himself realizing that the two of them could never be together.

Many believe that it may be Molly's ghost who has come back to haunt the place. Restaurant owner James Crnkovich recalled a special event at the place where the servers wore l9th century period clothing as costumes. As a waitress was setting up for dinner, an unknown woman in the same type of clothing (although not a dress supplied by the costume company) walked down a nearby hallway and disappeared. Staff members also talk of unusual events that happen with the customers and other employees like lights turning on and off in the basement, cold chills, strange noises and of course, the ghost of Molly.

Top 10 Steps to a Succesful Goal

Everyone do set goals for for success.. We have goals to keep our current job, or to get a different one. We have goals to save for the future, or to travel, take a vacation, or purchase the things we need and want to make our lives more enjoyable.
An important distinction, however, is that top achievers are serious and focused on their goals, while many of the rest of us are not..ended up turning their back to the goals they set.. Top achievers know that the wording, structure, timing and format of a goal can make it’s achievement much easier nor far more difficult. Top achievers understand the basic skills for setting and reaching their goals, every time! They know how to design and set goals that will lead to success!

I would like to share with you these 10 most important steps to set and achieve your goals Written by Dr. Philip E. Humbert:

1. Reachable goals are SPECIFIC. Top achievers know that to reach their goals, the brain must know exactly, precisely, what they are trying to accomplish. Never word a goal with vague terms like “some” or “a little bit”, or “more”. Be specific! If you want to lose 8 pounds and reach a weight of 175, specify those exact numbers. If you want to save $200 this month, be exact. Your brain can help you accomplish almost anything if it knows precisely what you are aiming for.

2. Reachable goals are SIMPLE. Many people describe their goals in complex terms of retiring on the beach in Hawaii, with nice cars and lots of money, and…. Their list goes on and on. Anyone of those things is a great goal, but the combination becomes over whelming and the brain gets confused. If you want to retire in Hawaii, just say so! If you want to increase your sales by 10% this month, say so! Keep your goals simple, clear, and focused.

3. Reachable goals are significant. No one can muster the enthusiasm, hard work and
courage to reach a goal they don’t really care about. A reachable goal is one you really, really want! It’s something that will change your life, enhance your health or wealth, and make you proud. It gets your juices flowing, gets you up in the morning, and keeps you going all day long, because it is important! Set goals that are worth achieving!

4. Reachable goals are STRATEGIC. High achievers know that the best goals accomplish
many great outcomes, all at one time. Running a 10K race will almost certainly: 1) feel great! 2)help you lose weight. 3) lower your cholesterol level 4) strengthen your heart 5) lower you risk of heart disease 6) increase your energy and stamina, and 7) improve your outlook. Design your goals to strategically impact as many areas of your life as possible. You’ll have more reasons to reach your goal and more excitement when you do!

5. Reachable goals are MEASURABLE. A goal without a measurable outcome is just a pipedream. You can’t achieve a pound of “happiness” or 6 inches of “self-esteem”, but you can get a new job. You CAN run a mile in under 7 minutes, or do 100 sit-ups. Someone has wisely observed that, “What gets measured, gets done.” Define your goals in terms of height, weight, dollars, inches, or hours. Then measure your progress until you achieve your desired outcome.

6. Reachable goals are RATIONAL. To reach your goal, you will need a plan, a path, and a vehicle for getting there. Your goals must make sense! When you explain them to friends and family, your goals should create excitement, draw support, and encouragement. Your goals should be just out of reach, but not out of sight! You want to stretch to be your best, not strain after
after impossible dreams. Set goals you CAN and WILL achieve!

7. Reachable goals are TANGIBLE. Choose goals that you can see, hear, smell or touch. Go for things you will enjoy and that you can clearly visualize. The brain has hard time going for “financial security”, but it can visualize a bank statement with nice, large numbers on it! Define your goals in terms that excite the senses, then go for it with all your heart!

8. Reachable goals are WRITTEN. High achievers always know precisely what they want,
because they’ve written it down. Often, they write a short description of their goals every single morning, as a personal reminder of their priorities and their objectives. The act of writing your goals down vastly increases your chance of success. Write it down! Then, keep your notes where
you can see and read them every day.

9. Reachable goals are SHARED. We are far more likely to stick to our plan and reach our goals if we know our friends and family support us. Being part of a team increases our determination, our stamina, and our courage. Caution: Never share your goals with anyone who may ridicule, tease or discourage you! The world is full of doubters and you have no time for them. But, find a support team, a group of cheerleaders, and a coach who will encourage you every step of the way. High achievers count on and work with other winners!

10. Reachable goals are CONSISTENT WITH YOUR VALUES. One of the biggest reasons
people fail to achieve their goals is that they have conflict between their behavior and their values. However, when your values and your goals are in agreement, there is no stopping you! Clarify your values first, then set simple, specific, measurable, tangible, written goals that are consistent with those values. You will achieve them, every single time!

“Aim high! And do not be afraid to reach your goals in life for the success is in your hands..” Have Faith and trust inn yourself! Good Luck!

Are you having a healthy breakfast?

A Healthy breakfast could help you start your day in the right track.. One of the most important mission one should fulfill before we do our daily tasks.

Have you ever thought how important a 5 – 10 minutes breakfast everyday??

Due to some researchers, a diabetologist – Dr. Rey Salinel, In the Morning, Our body is already in the mood of fasting. Half of our body’s glucose has been drained that needs to be replenished. That is how “Breakfast” is very important in our daily lives.. Because we need to Break the Fast! To gain what has been drained.. But, we should also bear in mind that you just cannot eat anything and everything under the sun!

According to the nutritionists, carbohydrates and protein, low in sugar and fat with a lot of fiber are the best ingredients of a good breakfast. Carbohydrates can be found in rice, oatmeal, bread and it is as well advised that one should eat one whole wheat bread and brown rice both of that contain lots of fiber. Proteins is present in egg, cheese and tuna but beware of those high fat content. So, if you feel like having a sandwich for your breakfast, avoid using mayonnaise as dressing since it contains a lot of fat.

Just a friendly breakfast advice especially for those busy people hurrying up for work every morning: >> You can have two slices of whole wheat toast with a slice of light cheddar cheese, oatmeal with fruit, whole wheat cereal with skim milk, scrambled eggs with toast or whole wheat bread with tuna.

So, lets have a healthy breakfast to fuel up our bodies !!

Watermelon effects..

Did you know that according to the researchers, watermelon has similar effects to Viagra??

According to Discovery, In Texas, Scientists said watermelons contain an ingredient called citrulline that means, can trigger production of a compound that helps relax the body's blood vessels, just like what happens when a man takes Viagra. When citrulline reacts with the body's enzymes, it is changed into arginine, an amino acid for the heart, circulatory and for our immune systems.

One Researcher for A&M's Fruit and Vegetable Improvement Center in Texas named Bhimu Patil, quoted in an article: "Arginine boosts nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels, the same basic effect that Viagra has, to treat erectile dysfunction and also even prevent it. Watermelon may not be as organ-specific as Viagra, but it's a great way to relax blood vessels without any drug side effects." In the flesh and rind of watermelon, a Citrulline an amino acid, Its name is derived from citrullus which is the Latin word for watermelon, is found. So for now, let's wait and see if there would be an increase in the consumption of the whole fruit.

An Incredible Love Story

"HOPE is a Waking Dream ... with LOVE everything is POSSIBLE"

I received this story twice in my email..at first i just ignored this email but the subject seems so intriguing to read..It's worth my time reading this it made me feel "inspired and in love" So, I wanted to share this to everybody!

In 2006, their story became one of the top 10 love stories from China , collected by the Chinese Women Weekly. The local government has decided to preserve the love ladder and the place they lived as a museum, so this love story can live forever.

An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world.. It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century.

The 70-year-old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-year-old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple's home for the last 50 years. Over 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 year-old boy, fell in love with a 29 year-old widowed mother named Xu Chaoqin...

In a twist worthy of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized
the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu already had children. At that time, it was unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman.. To avoid the market gossip and the scorn of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality .

In the beginning, life was harsh as hey had nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain, and Liu made a kerosene lamp that they used to light up their lives. Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, 'Are you regretful? Liu always replied, 'As long as we are industrious, life will improve..'

In the second year of living in the mountain, Liu began and continued for over 50 years, to hand-carve the steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily. Half a century later in 2001, a group of adventurers were exploring the forest and were surprised to find the elderly couple and the over 6,000 hand-carved steps. Liu MingSheng, one of their seven children said, 'My parents loved each other so much, They have lived in seclusion for over 50 years and never been apart a single day. He hand carved more than 6,000 steps over the years for my mother's convenience, although she doesn't go down the mountain that much.' The couple had lived in peace for over 50 years until last week. Liu, now 72 years, returned from his daily farm work and collapsed. Xu sat and prayed with her husband as he passed away in her arms. So in love with Xu, was Liu, that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife's hand even after he had passed away. 'You promised me you'll take care of me, you'll always be with me until the day I died, now you left before me, how am I going to live without you?' Xu spent days softly repeating this sentence and touching her husband's black coffinwith tears rolling down her cheeks.

The MV Princess of the Stars..Another unexpected sea tragedy..

A passenger ship MV Princess of the Stars has sunk off in the waters of Romblon, Philippines on Saturday. Gov't officials said they saw Sulpicio Lines' Princess of the Stars capsized. The ship may have approximately 700 passengers and crews. It's traveling in the rough seas amid a fury typhoon when the engine failed. Hundreds are feared dead. The typhoon has killed at least 141 people and 255 people are missing, most of them fishermen. The massive ferry which was built to hold about 2,000 people, flipped over about a mile off the shore of Sibuyan Island as typhoon Fengshen pummeled the Philippines.

While it is a tragic accident in its entirety, it could have been avoided. We all know that the Philippines is composed of 7,107 islands and traveling by boat is the most common means of transportation. There were a lot of questions to be asked..Why were they permitted to sail on that very stormy weather? Weren't they aware of that strong typhoon? They risk the lives of those 700 people..without thinking that they have families waiting for them..longing for their presence.. What's the role of PAGASA and the Coast Guard. This issue is hopeless..It all happened in a just click.. and the only thing that we can do now is pray.

We may not be there to help comfort the family of the victims but we can sincerely offer them a prayer for the deceased, their surviving families and hope for the betterment of the situation.

You will always remain in my heart Baby Noah..I will miss you!

Honestly, Its hard to bring back the pain i've been through but I wanted to share this story that had left a big dot within me..

If last weekend was a big bash for me, I was truly very depressed just this current weekend. It was an unexpected thing that happened in my entire life..I have a mixed emotions that i could not exactly describe how i feel about the whole thing..

This started last June 18,2008 when my friend noticed that my puppy ("noah") was not feeling well and lost his appetite. Noah is my 4 months old cross breed puppy (japanese spitz, shih tzu, maltese) a very bubbly, friendly, smart, fun-loving puppy..every night he used to go with me and my 4 yr old dog swooshie go stroll around for a "pee and popo time"..We've trained him to be his father's very opposite that means, we wanted him to be friendly so he could socialize with other people other than us and we didn't even had a hard time teaching him..because he's a smart puppy! but then time has come that I myself couldn't imagine..due to some reasons, busy with career and other important obligations, we forgot to have him immunized (parvo).

It was in the morning of June 19,2008 that I saw him sick and lost his appetite and would not even drink water..I started to worry and think of how to cure him. we called our vet to ask if we could give hydrite and vitamins. So to avoid dehydration, we gave him hydrite and vitamins to regain his appetite..i tried to feed him but he refused to eat..just trying to think positive hoping he could survive.. he was also trying to drink water all by himself that night trying to gain his appetite as well. We were planning to bring him to our vet on weekend June 21 but a very strong typhoon frank hit our place..so we were stuck at home..he was so weak that day that i had all the chance to carry, hug while telling him that he could survive..and i whispered "I love you!" and kissed him..I spent tiime with noah gave him milk..i slept beside him just to take a nap after my night shift work..when suddenly my friend woke me up see noah..oh my god! he was lying beside me looking at me..as if he's telling sorry that he couldn't survive the pain..then he took a deep breath and die..

He died around 12 noon last saturday June 21,2008..he died beside me,looking at me..I cried so hard and shout out loud calling his name! my memories with him were so fresh..I wanted to think im just dreaming..having a bad dream! I was really crying out the hurt and guilt that i felt..If only i did spare time for him for his immunization..he could live long..i was so depressed! Noah passed away and i don't have the power to bring back the past..It's a lesson learned! but somehow he knew he died with my love..he died with his favorite shirt on..my special gift! now, he's always in my dreams..I can always feel him with me..His memories will remain forever! I will surely miss my baby noah! I love You Noah!

Helen Keller's 10 Most Inspirational Qoutes

I want to share this most "inspirational qoutes of Helen Kelller" that had touched a lot of lives including mine..Read through it and reflect over your own life..It will open your eyes to reality and will help you make worst to better and better to best..

I wonder how different Helen's life would have been if she hadn't had such spirit. Where would she have been without the fire and drive that impressed everyone who met her? Helen is proof of the fact that we can look inside ourselves to make change in the world around us. Let these ten Helen Keller quotes remind us of that.

1. "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved."

2. "Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learn whatever state I am in, therein to be content."

3. "Science may have found a cure for most evils; but it has found no remedy for the worst of them all - the apathy of human beings."

4. "When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us."

5. "There is no king who has not had a slave among his ancestors, and no slave who has not had a king among his."

6. "Self-pity is our worst enemy and if we yield to it, we can never do anything good in the world."

7. "Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose."

8. "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure."

9. "I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do."

10. "Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see."

A Small Turtle is out..

Hey I've got a great weekend! I saw a small turtle with the kiddos at my friend's house..its fun! At first, I just didn't mind it but I was amazed on how the kids play and took care of it. One of them got a pail and put the small turtle inside while other kiddos were so eager to touch it and even hug and carry..I wondered how it feels and a question popped up my mind... does it have to be in the water? Will it die without water? So I grabbed this opportunity to touch it and feel its body and let it crawl in my hands and even took a picture with it..It was just like I was one of those kiddos longing to own that small turtle..He can be alive without water..Whew! It feels good! touching it..although I must admit it at first i feel like i'm having goosebumps..LOL! but it was a good experience though..how bout you? Have you ever had such a great experience as mine? ( ",) I love animals..I consider them my treasure! that's why we should learn how to take good care of them..It feels good! Thanks for the time "Mr. Small Turtle"!

A Great Honesty..

Despite of all the calamities and problems we are facing now, There are still big Hope for us and Good deeds that deserved to be rewarded.. Alexander "Stitch" Latag another filipino hero..He's working as a waiter in a restaurant in a Mall. While cleaning the table, he found a plastic thinking it was just a garbage but to his surprise, it has a money worth P1M. What he did was find the owner and honestly returned that big amount of money and for this, he was being rewarded a hundred thousand pesos. A big blessing for a job well done! I was wondering.. How many of us could be like Alexander? With this high prices we are experiencing now and great demands in our daily needs, I'm sure a lot of us would decide to keep the money instead..and use it for our own needs..But for Alexander he is a truly an Honest person his first instinct was to find the owner and give back the money.

Alexander gave us another reason to be proud of being a Filipino! (Are you?) well, not all Filipinos are bad. Although Filipinos has gained bad image in other countries, but let us not generalize those feedbacks.. there are still those who we could consider “Good Samaritans” those that has a good heart that could be trusted with pure attitude towards his job, and others. I still hope he could touch others heart with his “Great Honesty” I hope and pray for more Alexanders to come and that this short story could leave a big dot in our hearts and mind. Maybe this could remain as a great lesson for all of us..

The Art of Body Painting

See this real Art..The Body Art..As I was surfing the net, I happened to click on an interesting link which has all the body arts featured in its community that inspired me to post it on my blog..I know you guys would like this as well..

Body Art is an art made to a human body and one of them is this body painting..Unlike tattoos and other forms of body art, body painting is temporarily painted in human skin that would lasts for several hours or at most a couple of weeks, depending on the materials used. In ancient times, it is considered as an art in a human (in nude) body. That's why they consider nude paintings as an art too! Which a lot of us do put malice in every nude pictures or paintings we see. Well, it also depends on how we interpret it. But, body painting is not always large pieces on fully nude bodies, but can involve smaller pieces on displayed areas of otherwise clothed bodies. It is also a form of expressing one's self or emotions..

Body paintings are also used during festivals, ceremonies or any other occasions to symbolize their themes or visions. This involves different materials. Clay for some tribalist cultures used on ceremonies, A semi-permanent form of body painting called Mehndi -on brides they use dyes that is made of henna (called now a "henna tattoo") this is practiced in India and in Middle East, Another is Anatto/Huito or Wet charcoal- a semi-permanent, and it generally takes weeks for this black dye to fade used by the indigenous people of South America then now, clowns and actors use cosmetics to decorate their faces and body on occasions especially on birthday parties. Today, body painting is huge in both amateur and professional arenas. Body painting festivals happen annually across the world, bringing together professional body painters as well as keen amateurs.

Numerology is the ancient practice of converting letters into numbers and comparing the results to uncover the hidden associations between words. Unlike modern numerology this older form of numerology (known as isopsephia or gematria) focuses on lists of words, names, and dates whose numeric values match your own numeric value in some way. Try this inorder to uncover words of particular relevance to you today. you can generate a personal profile for yourself or even your favorite celebrity. Interpretation requires attention to detail, but the advantage of pure numerology is that the readings are entirely objective.

Dog Euthanasia

Dog Euthanasia means to voluntarily end the life of your dog to put them into a deep sleep. Others do this if their pet is seriously ill or having a behavioral problem instead of killing or throwing them away, they come up into a decision => Dog Euthanasia.

Can you imagine doing this to your dog? they are just like human beings..they also have feelings. They also long for somebody to take care and to love them. For me, it would be very difficult to see dogs being euthanized its an immoral act! Its like murdering your own dog. An animal cruelty! have you ever wondered why they got sick? or behaved that way? Its because of your carelesness..Being a dog owner, one should know the dos and donts. They are generally considered as man's bestfriend therefore, they deserve the best care..

The New You..

Everyone feels like a fresh start at times despite of all the problems we always encounter in life..that we consider "the spices in life". A renewed focus on getting the most out of life, enjoying the simple things and clearing the way for a calmer, less stressed routine.

Knowing you want a change is a bit easy but hard as well depending on the changes we have..Plan carefully, however, take it one step at time and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. It's just like clearing your house of clutter, reinvigorating a stale relationship or deciding to get fit by walking or having a thorough exercise would be the best start for a new you!

Refreshing yourself is not always as easy as ABC.. it will always be hard but easy if you put your heart into it..deciding with all your heart will give you more courage and strength to push through base on experience, changes in life is a big cross for me but it gave me not just courage and strength but "Faith in God" as well..That I consider the strongest factor that helped me surpass every single changes i encounter in life. It somehow make things easy for me to accept and understand things.

So, a piece of advice...don't be afraid of any changes you encounter in life as long as you have great faith, courage and strength..you will always win your battle.. GoodLuck!
